Nobody does Mexican like the Red Pepper.  While most restaurants are constantly trying to “reinvent the wheel” and come up with new menu items almost daily, the Red Pepper’s menu has stayed consistent for more than three decades.  How can we do that?  We simply serve great food at a great price.


Grinder

Our Signature item to say the least.  A sub sandwich made with our White Sauce, Lettuce, Hot Sauce, your choice of Ham, Salami, Turkey, or any combination, & Swiss Cheese.  But don’t stop there!  Add Colby Cheese & Taco Meat and now you’ve got a Grinder.  Why stop now?  Go double meat & double cheese!


Tacos

Others claim to have the “Best Taco in Town”, they obviously don’t live in Grand Forks.


Hard Shell Taco – A Crisp Corn Tortilla filled with Taco Meat, Lettuce, a squirt of Hot Sauce, & topped with Freshly Grated Colby Cheese.


Soft Shell Taco – A Soft Flour Tortilla wrapped around Taco Meat, Lettuce, a squirt of Hot Sauce, & Freshly Grated Colby Cheese


Burrito – A Soft Flour Tortilla wrapped around a mixture of Taco Meat & Pinto Beans (we call it “Combo)”, Lettuce, a squirt of Hot Sauce, & Freshly Grated Colby Cheese


Bean Burrito - A Soft Flour Tortilla wrapped around Pinto Beans, Lettuce, a squirt of Hot Sauce, & Freshly Grated Colby Cheese

Cheese Tostada – A Red Pepper Classic… So Simple, So Good!  A flat Crisp Corn Tortilla topped with Freshly Grated Colby Cheese &  Hot Sauce, then melted.


Beef, Bean, or Combo Tostada - A flat Crisp Corn Tortilla covered with Taco Meat, Pinto Beans, or a “Combo” of the two, then heaped with lettuce, of course a squirt of Hot Sauce, & topped with Freshly Grated Colby Cheese

Coney Island – An all beef Dogg on a bun, covered with “mexi” meat & topped with Colby Cheese

At the Red Pepper you can always expect food that is simply unrivaled in Taste and Quality.  Every item is made to order.


Whenever possible we use local products and suppliers.  Our ground beef is the leanest available and is ground daily by L&M Meats. Our beans are grown right here in the valley and supplied by GF Bean Co.  Our buns are baked and delivered daily by Hugo’s Bakery.  And gallons and gallons of our signature sauces are homemade everyday. 


When you put it all together, fresh, homemade, lean, and local, you’ve got The Red Pepper’s unique brand of Mexican food.
