The Red Pepper has been a Grand Forks landmark and UND mainstay for over 35 years.
The Red Pepper is known for great homemade Mexican food at a great price. While most restaurants are constantly trying to “reinvent the wheel” and come up with new menu items almost daily, the Red Pepper’s menu has stayed consistent for more than three decades. How can we do that? We simply serve great Tacos, Tostadas, Enchiladas, & Grinders at a great price. | |

We, at the Red Pepper, understand that some people are offended by the use of Native American imagery in association with the University of North Dakota. While we are sympathetic to those views, we also recognize the great pride that so many have taken in calling themselves "Fighting Sioux". We feel the University of North Dakota has, with the blessing and support of the Native American community, used the "Fighting Sioux" nickname in a dignified manner to honor the proud heritage of a segment of our state’s population. Because of this we choose to stand with the members of the Standing Rock Sioux tribe and the Spirit Lake Sioux tribe in supporting the continued use of the Fighting Sioux nickname.
